Our Approach

ZEP combines decades of coaching experience with a structured, research-driven approach to skill development. Our programs are built on the latest riding and coaching techniques developed by ZEP’s owner and head coach — also President of the Global Syndicate of Mountain Bike Coaches — who literally wrote the book on how to coach mountain biking. Grounded in physics, biomechanics, neuroscience, and modern education theory, ZEP helps riders of all levels ride smarter, smoother, and more confidently in a fun, supportive environment.

We’re more than a coaching company.
ZEP was founded by the pioneers of professional mountain bike skills coaching. Our team created the PMBI/PMBIA - the Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association, but we now run the Global Syndicate of Mountain Bike Coaches (GSMBC) — the new world leader in mountain bike coach education & certifications.

This means when you ride with ZEP, you’re learning from the people who set the global standard for mountain bike coaching.
