  • 4 X 2HR COACHING SESSIONS

  • TUESDAY NIGHTS IN JUly

  • Meeting Location: Outside Evolution Whistler Bike

    Date: Tuesdays - June 30 - July 21

    Time: 6pm - 8pm

    • Start each day with a bike check and setup overview, followed by a technical and physical warm-up to get you stoked and ready to ride.

    • Dial in the skills that matter most to you—whether it’s steeps, rock rolls, technical lines, or tight turns —with focused sessions designed to guarantee progression.

    • Learn mental strategies to manage fear, boost focus, and ride with more flow and freedom on challenging terrain.

    • Tuesdays in July from 6pm - 8pm

    • Sessions take place in the Whistler Valley Trails, using a wide variety of terrain from singletrack, pump tracks, open areas and skills areas to develop a fun, safe skills progression

  • As a minimum, this program is design for riders comfortable on blue tech trails, riding actively at trail speed (braking only when necessary).

Groups are organised by riding experience and personal goals, ensuring each day is tailored to the needs and progression of every rider.

  • What gear do I need?

A quality full-suspension bike with hydraulic disc brakes and enduro/downhill tires. An enduro-style bike with 5 or more inches of travel and a slack head angle is ideal.

A helmet and knee pads are mandatory. Optional but recommended: arm and spine protection.

Please bring gloves, water, snacks, a hydration pack, basic tools, and a spare tube, with clothing suited to the weather.

Can I ride with my friends if they’re better than me?

Friends can often ride together, but group placement depends on skill level to ensure everyone receives appropriate coaching and terrain.

If the ability gap is too large, we may recommend separate groups to maximize progression for all riders—while still giving you a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the session.

What fitness level do I need to be?

A basic level of fitness is helpful, but groups are paced appropriately. Coaches adjust routes and intensity to match the group’s ability.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Sessions typically run rain or shine, unless conditions are unsafe. If a session must be cancelled or rescheduled, we’ll notify participants as early as possible.

    What is the coach-to-rider ratio?

We run a 6:1 ratio, keeping groups small to ensure personalized attention, safety, and meaningful, effective feedback for every rider.

Do I need to attend every session?

Attendance is encouraged for consistent progression, but we understand life happens. You’ll still benefit even if you miss a week.

    Is previous coaching required?

No coaching experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and have fun.

What if I have a medical condition or past injury?

Please let your coach know beforehand so we can ensure you ride safely and receive appropriate support.

    Are there age requirements?

    Typically for ages 18+.

If you’re younger and interested in joining, please contact info@zepmtbcamps. We can review the ages of other participants to see if there’s an appropriate group, or help recommend another program that may be a better fit.
